  • The Bardavon 1869 Opera House (Bardavon.org) is a highlight of the region. The 944-seat historic venue in Poughkeepsie is the oldest continuously operating theater in New York State and one of the oldest in the country. The Bardavon offers affordable, world-class live music, dance and theater performances, Live in HD broadcasts, classic films and arts education programs.
